Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne is relatively obscure, isn't it?

Fucking awesome game! Not completely awesome, because it's way too mired in traditional RPG mechanics, but I found the storyline and atmosphere to be top-notch. What other RPG gives you the opportunity to allign yourself with Satan and fight God?

Oh yah, let me just add to that, The Summoner. Only PS2 RPG, was pretty damn good in my opinion. You had actual control over your character's advancement and it had an interesting chain-based combat system. You could set up a really cool party, and the quests are abundant, challenging, and require you to think.

I saw someone play it.  Load times looked awful.
