Now that they're in 3D I can finally see them for the shit they are lol.
The only lasting appeal they had on me was the fact they used to be 2D and thus the world, atmosphere and combat was tailored to accommodate such a dimension.
But now that they're 3D, I notice how much freedom these jrpgs actually lack.
Why can't I attack and kill the lesbos in my Star ocean 3 story?
Why can't I be the tyrant king of suikoden 5 and lay waste to the land?
Why can't I subject every kingdom hearts character to a built in torture device to vent my frustration?
