-Nearly all boxes and instruction manuals for NES games, including Dragonwarrior I-IV
-SNES boxes and instruction manuals
-Various console boxes
-He-man and Transformers action figures
Actually, I am glad I threw all that shit away. Otherwise I'd be some obsessed collector with more room dedicated to plastic and cardboard bullshit than actual living space.

lool,
I sold my original big grey gameboy with a ton of games, and some (but not all of my games) sega master system games and nes games cause I thought I wouldn't care about them.
Actually, I don't really care about them but I do think it was stupid to sell'em when I was alot younger.

-My Genesis game collection. There was some game I got 20 bucks for, and I found it on ebay for like 100.

i had a huge stack of video games mags from the genesis era and up, and threw 'em all out. mow i wish i could go back because a lot of them were Tips & Tricks and I could use their strategy guides on the older games i'm playing.
guides on paper > guides on the 'net.

I wonder how many 40-50 year olds feel this way about their old Beatles albums.

I used to get mad at myself over all the VG-related stuff I've gotten rid of in my time. Hell, I'm just now recovering a bunch of SNES carts I'd sold off or given away...wait, where was I going with this? Hmm...

I threw my old manuals and boxes away because I realized I was collecting junk. Paper junk. Worthless paper junk. Oh God I wish I kept it.

I had the first 40 issues of Nintendo Power in near-mint condition. When I moved in '97 they were all thrown away. More pissed than people that actually paid money to see the god-awful Mario movie. ("This ain't no game!")
I wonder how much that first issue would go for on E-bay now...

my girlfriend. Choose xbox 360 over girls, but I like it better without her.
