Why didn't they just make these games look more and more like ancient chinese paintings? Instead they now look like "Star Ocean 3: Til the Waste of time".

No one makes games I like anymore. =[

I have a DS so no, 2D isn't dead and neither do I have to conform.  3D characters only look good in the in-game movies.  Outside of the movies, 3D characters are blocky and their movements are not fluid.
