do you usually wait for used copies and clearance prices on games?
determining proper pricing on iltellectual property is a tricky proposition, because aside from media costs, the cost of creating the game is divided by the number of copies sold.
in that light, i think the companies that make games would be a little better off if they reduced thier MSRPs a bit, dropping to 40 for your average brand-new game.
i imagine gamer's would be more eager to pick up new games, than to wait until prices plummet.
so what do you do? do you wait for price drops before you get ANY game, do you get them all immediately, or just get it when it's new IF you KNOW it's gonna be good.
