Australian needs buying help!

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-22 9:23

Hey guys!
I have $200, and no idea what to spend it on.
I'm considering:
Gamecube($100) and games with the remainder
PS2($150) and games with the remainder
some new games for my xbox
some PC games (can't get the real high-qual new ones tho, cos I don't have a PC that will run them)

what are your suggestions?
please remember that I'm in australia so I don't get a lot of the american games down here, and the prices are different, so please only post if you're australian!

Spend that $200 towards a better computer, and download some PC games.

i recommend a didgeridoo AND a boomerang. maybe one of those hats with the corks on strings hanging from it too.

I see you've played Knify Spoony before.

i think boomerang is more cool than didgeridoo.

I lived in autralia for about a year. I kinda remember the games were delayed -but they were there. I bought a Dreamcast, PS2 and GBA while there and plenty of games for each. I even passed by the Nintendo offices in Melbourne a couple of times.

Things may have changed since then and I'm not really sure if the games are harder to find now (PAL sucks, you know it). The reason some games, particularly US or Jap made, are delayed or never released there is because they have to convert it to PAL first.

But my suggestion would be saving up for a Sony PSP or Nintendo DS. Think about it. You won't have to wait (or hope) for the games to be released locally. Just buy 'em from the 'net from any country. I'm going back there this year, and that's what I'm planning to do...

Buy old sticks of 16Mb RAM for 20 cents each. Buy $200's worth. Have more RAM than anyone in the world.

I really hate to live up to the stereotype, but I already have a boomerang AND a didgeridoo. I don't need the hat tho, cos I don't go outside all that often, and usually it's at night.

Er, I haven't met anybody who thought it was true.  Just like the Brazilian, Japanese, or British episodes aren't considered a documentary of those countries.

Unlike all those episodes, the Australian one was actually funny.

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-26 2:25

Duh, that's why the aussie one was considered a documentary
