Could there be another Legacy of Kain game?

i've been wondering if there's anything in development related to LoK. how long ago did Defiance come out? sorry if this is really obvious, i just dont know how to search for this type of information, all i get are sites related to the games that are already out. defiance left a pretty open-ended space for another game

Defiance was published in 2003. Personally I felt the story in Defiance kind of wrapped itself up. It left things open-ended, but it felt very complete to me, like it was the end of the story.

I'm not saying I wouldn't like another Legacy of Kain game though. Far from it. :)

not touching this series again until it's in 2D (which means never)
