With most games the purpose is to kill everyone in sight, but with games like Hitman, Metal Gear Sold, or Splinter Cell they request you avoid killing unnecessarily and place much more importance on your actual mission. There is also Way of the Samurai, which in many instances pits you against a single enemy in a single long battle rather than 100 enemies in 100 battles.
I'm not looking for a stealth or shooting game in particular, but something that bases your purpose around a single or very few kills rather than an infinite rush of nobodies whose deaths are worth nothing.
I desire something like this because I'm tired of killing for no reason. For instance, if you played a game where simply moving around killed things, would that still carry satisfaction and fun? The afterknowledge of having earned the kill and the kill have progressed you in your mission is as much a part of gameplay as the kill itself.
In summary: I want to feel as if I am killing more than just another sprite.
