Japan has many games based off of anime and manga licenses. Are any good? Should any have been brought to the US?

When the US does get anime games, they tend to be crap, like Inu Yasha RPG. We get Dragon Power (NES), DBGT, and DBZ UB 22, while Japan has DBZ RPGs, battle simulators, and 2D fighters for GB/SNES/PS. Not all of them are good, but the ones that are will never come here (DBZ Legends), while the US gets Atari made crap like Saga of Goku.
A lot of previous games will not be collected or brought over, so only the latest is, even if there were better games in the past. I hear there are Yu-gi-Oh games that are actually good, though I wouldn't trust that information.

the 2d fighters are only slightly less total shit than the ps-era 3d fighters. legends is okay. the recent spike-developed game is probably the best thing they've done with the license.

There are a ton of Gundam games for all series. And of course the SD Gundam/Godzilla/Ultraman/Kamen Rider/whatever RPG/dodgeball/etc games. I'm not sure if US fans are rabid enough to play those. I mean Dragon Quest Gundam is only fun for a little while.

Of the Gundam games availible in the US the arcade games made by Capcom (Federation vs. ZEON and Gundam vs. ZETA Gundam) are the best. There's also a third game based on SEED Destiny that's technically better than both of those but, well, it's based on SEED Destiny.
The SEED vs game isn't availible in the US yet. The currently availible SEED game is completely different and sucks hardcore.
