hmmmmm.... :/ I'd have to say the lufia series was one that was accualy pritty good... mabye swords and serpents too (NES)

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-03 1:59

Tsugunai was good... the graphics were detailed but somehow generic and the animations were awkward, but the story was crazy and awesome.

I've always wanted to play this game... why does it have to be hard to find? :(

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-03 22:36

Tales of Eternia!!

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-04 0:12

Planescape: Torment

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-04 13:51

Tsugunai was published by Atlus USA (low print run), sold poorly (returned by retailers), and got poor reviews (bargain bin).

Skies Of Arcadia: Legends
Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance
Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings And The Lost Ocean

Gamecube RPGs, although few in numbers, are quite entertaining.

I'll be sure to do that once I figure out what "ide" means.

The Seiken Densetsu games are pretty fun too. Co-Op ftw.

Best RPG ever

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-06 18:09

Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, and the first Fire Emblem GBA game.

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-07 22:52

Disgaea would have to be the best unplayed game, except for the fact that the anime is shit.

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-07 23:04

Front Mission 3 is the best unplayed game.

Front Mission 3 > Disgaea.

Wouldn't you guys consider the Wild ARMs and Star Ocean series to be mainstream?

Anyway, my list:
Skies of Arcadia
Front Mission 3
Vagrant Story
Azure Dreams

Not the best game in the world, but it had a fun town building system, and you could date... what, eight girls at once? The "strip you down to level one each time you enter the tower" system was also a nice touch. Challenging game.

Makai Kingdom... how could the most badass overlord be forgotten?
also, phantom brave

I just got a 3DO with these two RPGs off of ebay. Fucking great. LQ DOES remind me of Lunar, but GW reminds me more of Kartia, golems and all.

lol at this thread being google cached. It's the only search result for LuciAnne's Quest. You disgrace maiwaifu by mispelling her name, cretin! Both Es, both!

Name: Anonymous 2007-06-28 5:36 ID:CNGtaPCY

Deus Ex (rpg elements) and Lineage 2 are good RPGs

The Tales of Series and Disgaea

Name: Anonymous 2007-06-28 11:36 ID:PPFRqiDO

Dragon Warrior and Dragon Quest series

Cave Story

When all the other girls in grade 6 were learning how to apply makeup, I was playing a watered-down dating game. Thousand Arms, yes. It paved the way for my sad future.

Seconding Grandia. Chrono Trigger is a given. I also liked Rhapsody, no matter how fucking high it was.

Tales of Destiny, and Summon Night SS2 for the DS. Does Pocky & Rocky count? I was badass at that game when I was 7.

Isn't dating game pg 18? or adult only?
how did you get such games?

For me i enjoyed valkryie profile
harvest moon
castlevania
pokemon of course, but on original gameboy

didn't care much about zelda, it's just too crude and its play mechanics were too messy imo.
