PS2 2D Fighter

I need to get hold of a good beat em up for the PS2, but have no idea what to get.

I was thinking maybe Guilty Gear X or Capcom Vs Snk, but I'm not sure.

so go go go, recommend.

Random SNK fighters

Some people like MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2, but I didn't care for it.

Guilty Gear Isuka? I've heard good things about that one.

What type of 2d fighting games do you like?

Guilty Gear X2(or any other GG in the series beside Isuka)
Street Fighter Anniversary Collection(All the old SF2 and SF3TS)

i understand that Capcom vs SNK 2 is rare and hard to find at a decent price.

I love CVS2, and I got it for a bargain of $20 brand new. You might be able to find Marvel vs Capcom 2 for a good price too. Just hunt around. I also reccomend any Guilty Gear game or King of Fighters.

Guilty Gear X-2, King of Fighters 2000/2001, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection.

CVS2 isn't too great of a game. It's got the feel of SF in an snk-ish game. It's pretty decent for such a pixelated game ... I don't think it's rare at all since all my friends have a copy, and I'd sell mine for $5. -shrug-
