ds lite importion

Would there be any downsides to importing a Japanese DS lite? From what I can tell the battery charger is compatible here, and the games seem to be region free. Does anyone know about the wifi compatibility, or how homebrew works with jap firmware? Or if I'm wrong about the power/games? I'd hate to drop 200 bucks for it and not have all the features a domestic one would have.

same thing, do mind taxes and shipping, it can get really expensive

why would you import things that are guranteed to come here?

they don't go removing stuff from stuff for american release unless you're dealing with ecsessive culture shock, or hardware that did better in japan (like the e-reader)

what makes you think ANYTHING form the jap DSlite will be missing from the US DSlite?

you do know that using the slang word \"jap\" is offensive to some people.  Probably the ones from japan.

There are no downsides to importing a JP DS Lite unless you break it and want it fixed. If it happens, then Nintendo USA cannot fix or repair your system because of some bullshit. Anyway, just make sure you get the right power source adapter and you'll be fine.

Don't change these.
