N> Demon's Crest-esque Music

Name: Anonymous 2006-02-20 2:00

I know it's video game music specifically, and sounds like that "Phantom of the Opera" stuff, but I still don't know the genre is called. Help me out on that so I don't sound stupid when asking again.

I don't listen to this stuff because I'm "gothic" nor do I deliberately play it to scare my friends (though I find their reaction humorous), but because I actually enjoy it. I listen to non-main stream stuff, but I won't further diverge on that.

If anyone can help, please provide a list of this type of music that you yourselves enjoy. Samples or links are, by default, very much appreciated.

As you can tell, I enjoy the Demon's Crest BGM, notably the theme that plays in the demon town.

(If there is an actual remix to this, like OC, I would... kill for it hahaha)

And, of course, Bloody Tears.

Anything that sounds like this, or even metal remixes (as is the case with Bloody Tears)

Many thanks. I don't have an image for /v/ nor do I wish to sift through /r/ with caution.

Dude nothing even sounds close to the way Demon's crest is, face it, it's Alph Lyla, they're fucking crazy, but its sad you mention them and people think "lol megaman that overrated crap" but they've done so many better fucking things than megaman.
Also you should invest/link/(everyones heard it anyway) SPC set of demon's crest instead of some low quality midi. In fact if you listen to the whole spc set you'll fid a lot of other good stuff besides the ruined town.
Oh and its not gothic music at all, gothic music takes the prerequisite of being shitty boring and trite, especially when it comes to melody (or halfased lack there of)

Oh, thanks for the information. It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was certainly interesting and welcome.

And again, forgive, but I've seen SPC files, but I don't know how to run them (specifically Kirby Super Star files).

If anyone else can fulfill the other parts of my post, many thanks.

Don't change these.
