This game is > j00. Foes range from the Zmobies and Ghuols lurking in the Misspelled Cemetary to the Penguin Mafia (which has recently lost power after being eaten by Knott Yetis) to the dreaded Ninja Snowmen, and player classes include Pastamancer and Seal Clubber. Fucking genius game, though it features a plethora of horrible puns.

The Pet Rock is the best familiar in any game ever. (Though the Ghost Pickle on a Stick and Temporal Riftlet are also awesome, they just can't compare to the Pet Rock in all its stationary glory.) By the way, speaking of familiars, is a Teddy Bear just a Levitating Potato that loses XP when hit?

What class? Sauceror is probably the best idea for the first HC run. Or pastamancer, you'll probably have to run both of them back to back to get the two most important skills in hardcore, saucecrafting and pastamastery. Teetotaler is a very good choice as it will leave you with 3 pates for your next run.
Oh well, as it's your first run it'll probably take about as long as your first SC run, so you can worry about that later :)

That's exactly what I thought about the skills so I chose pastamancer. It's going very slow right now but I think as soon as I get a cookbook, a baconstone pendant and the lv 6 skill (I'm only lv 5) that gives me +40% combat initiative I can adventure in more rewarding areas and kill most of the stuff there in a round or two
