Does anyone know of hidden websites that offer the occasional audio clip for use in a theme for windows or other appropriate OS? It seems I could easily find websites for this years ago, but now it is lost in the inter-eather (or google is incompetent at finding them).

it depends on what you are looking for. 8/16-bit sound rips are mostly found on those Flash videogame parody sites like newgrounds (there's always someone who post sources there). Even if it's the case, you may also try ripping them by yourself, as there are plenty of vg emulators with sound log support.

Not the OP but this seems as good a place as any.
Anyone ever come across something that lets you rip sound effects from PS2 games? I got no technical skill whatsoever. The more it's all click and drag the better. If not, well I guess I'll have to get some geek bait or somethin'.
