Counter Strike

I've decided to get into CS.  So I'm looking for someone to help me out and get into the game.  Give me some hints a pointers, prefreably play in-game with me.

What version? 1.6? Source? I can play any version from 1.5 to Source, excluding CZ. (CZ: Gay)

Huh?  They're both good.  CS is perfect for when you don't want to deal with retards who steal the vehicles, run over teammates, then drive off a cliff and/or crash into stuff.  Day of Defear: Source is great, too.  Basically CS only World War 2.

1. ALWAYS BUY ARMOR. It increases the amount of punishment you can take. Even a  helmet can deflect some headshots.
2. Follow team-mates. Don't be the hero and lead the pack. Stay towards the back so your not mowed down when Counter Terrorist (CT) and Terrorists (T) see each other.
3. A good beginners gun is the MP5. It has the least spread (as in  the longer you hold the trigger, the less accurate each shot is). Use that till you feel comfortable with it, and I mean really comfortable. After that you can experiment with other SMGs and rifles.
4. All beginners should stay away from sniper rifles. It takes a long time to become a thret with a sniper rifle. When you want to try sniping, use the Scout, it's cheap and takes about two shots to kill. The AWP is very expensive, so don't buy it unless you have tons of money to blow.
5. Fire in short bursts when fighting long distances, about 3-4 shots.
6. Never stop moving. Even if you think your safe, don't stop moving. A moving target is harder to hit than an idiot who stands still.
7. Don't camp. It makes you a sitting duck and it pisses people off, so they'll try even harder to kill you. Camping is sort of useful when guarding the bomb, but that's really the only exception, but it's not full proof.
8. Make sure you know how to plant the bomb AND how to drop weapons/bomb. People will hate you if your the smacktard who doesn't know how to plant, gaining yourself contempt from the whole team and making you the laughing stock.
9. Last but not least, DON'T accuse others of hacking. Also, don't joke around and say your hacking. Both of these can get you kicked or banned. Speedhacks are obvious and aimbot programs are easy to tell if you follow the hacker from their perspective (their screen will be shaking). Don't be an retard and accuse every single person who's kick your ass of hacking.

It is just a game, instead of grabbing the mouse with such force that veins are popping from your forehead try the better approach of daintily holding your mouse with your thumb and and pinky on either sides and letting it "float" along the mouse pad with the movment of your hand.

The first shot of the AK47 is always 100% accurate and it takes about 1 second for the first shot to "reload"
