reply#5 on joystiq is right, if 360 start spilling out the next-gen FF's, who'd buy a PS3 just for MGS series, not to mention how Armored Core looked better on 360 than PS3 (http://playstation3.joystiq.com/entry/1234000467068016/)
why talk about PS4 at all, is SONY already admitting PS3 being inferior to X360. yes, i know PS3 is much stronger than X360 by the numbers, but the AC comparison article suggets that few developers have the guts to turn PS3's potential into reality.
Even so, if you consider two consoles having same potential, with one being half ass easier to program on, which would you choose as a progammer.
Now i'm freaki'n confused, should i get X360 now? PS3 later? or hey PS4 just a little more later, wtf

Gamecube sold 52 million.
Lol... check the facts, that aint bad at all.
64DD was cancelled in US and basically a "shortbased shipped" quantity in Japan because they knew it would sell there, and it did.
You should have named something like "Virtual-Boy"
Playstation pretty much did just like what EA Sports did when they made Madden.
Stole everything from their competitors and put it on their product and did more advertising with "Celebrities getting free systems when their already rich and can afford 10 playstations for their KIDS alone."
(Celebrities that get free systems from "this company" always say "OH THIS SYSTEM IS BETTER, or THIS GAME IS BETTER".)
Playstation stole "Rumble feature -- Analog Technology --- Hard Drive, and industry secrets from Nintendo"
(Super Nintendo was going to release an add on called "The Nintendo Playstation") and if you didn't know
Nintendo had a Sony Sound chip in their system, switched to another company, and sony got mad and made PS and took the ideas they had going for the "CD based Nintendo Playstation" and made their own system.
Nintendo tried to be "Different and stay with cartridges and people got pissed about paying "2 more dollers for a video game" saying "CARTRIDGES ARE MORE EXPENSIVE" and that was the fall of Nintendo.
Even if they are better, people still say it sucks.
Lets see if PS3 tries to still the Revolution's Controller.
(Of course they'll try)

Don't forget the wireless controllers they've stolen from nintendo now too. Oh and the lovely optical disc tech they stole for the PsP. Same discs just slightly smaller.
I hope you know that the ps2 did have suport for a hdd aswell..
so there is no stealing there... and the ps2 still have all the
third party dev's like Datel. An IM program for the ps2 anyone?..

If you people are going to be like this then every god damn thing in history is stolen.
It's pointless to scream and fight over something stupid like omg someone's thing looks like another thing or was base don another thing.. STOLENZ.
Gamecube didnt sell 53 million, more like 10-20 million.. think why almost every good game it was going to get that wasnt from Nintendo was cancelled, and literally all support is gone
your full of it

I could believe it sold 53 million, but it's still in last place compared to PS2 and Xbox. I was hoping it would bring in NES and SNES levels of popularity, but that was idealistic delusion on my part. Saying it's a step up from N64 doesn't mean much either.
