Most underrated game ever, this game is BEGGING for a re-make, think a really really multipathed RPG, excepts its not an RPG, but an FPS

I don't understand people's fascination with remakes. DX1 was a DOS game, right? So you can get it to play on any current setup as long as you have DOSBox, right? What's the issue?
A remake is only going to disappoint you. You'll just end up saying "That was better in the original" or "Why didn't they include this?". The only good remakes were the King's Quest 1 and 2, and those weren't even made by Sierra.
