need some help, feel like a n00b

look, this is th only place that i can post, the rest of 4chan is filtered at my college. can anyone help?

Revel in the fact that no one has heard of World4chan enough to filter it.  But it's day will come.

Why would anyone filter world4ch?

As for how to get past the filter, it depends on your university's setup. Are all HTTP requests going through a proxy? Can you access other ports across the internet (ie, can you use SSH, IRC, etc)? Do you have administrator access to the machine you're using?

kinda strange that a college would want to filter websites.  Mine just prevents you from using p2p programs except for direct connect which still works

No, I've seen this before. Bandwidth costs money, so they run everything through a caching proxy and filter out "questionable" content. They do have a point - if you're using university resources you should be studying, not fapping, warezing, etc.

It's fairly strict if this is a connection at a dorm though, which I suspect this isn't.

i think i just need a good proxy bypass, but they've filtered alot of websites, its done by 'keywords'

i just found out my college uses cachemaster, but i'm still having problems

ive gotten arround this at many placed by using anonymouse.ws, its damn slow but i havent found a school/library/anywhere that it was blocked at yet, and if it is theres 1000's of cgi proxy sites out there like that
