Super Smash Brothers: Melee

Who do you use?  Is the C-Stick for newbies only? Is Shiek OMFGBS?  This is what we will discuss.

Haven't played it.  In fact, haven't played anything by Nintendo since SSB.  Played SSB so much I wrote a bloody faq on it.

Man, that was a long time ago.

I use the C-stick as a taunting way to kill newbies :) on the other hand, you cannot refute the awesomeness that is Zelda/Sheik.

Link, Marth, and Zelda/Sheik. Link is a carry over from SSB, but now I'm trying to expand to Marth and Zelda/Sheik. If I feel like fucking around, I use Pichu and his explosive Skull Bash.

I never really used the C-Stick before, but I think I'm going to since it appears very useful. Being able to pull off Smash attacks in an instant has a friend put me in place a couple of times.

I want to use the directional pad for movement :(  Stupid analog

In order of usage:
Samus, Fox, Falco, Link, Marth, Mr.Game and Watch and when I want to put certain cheap players in their place I use Shiek. Using the C-Stick does make Smashing easier well, so I've seen I guess...I don't use it.

I don't want pushing up on the Stick to jump. That's cost me many a match it did. Get rid of it, Nintendo!

I am more of a Peach user myself.  The high priority moves, and ability to float are rather nice.

I do tend to use the C-stick a great deal.  But not so much when I am on the ground.  I have found that I like to combat more in the air than on the ground.  So, I use the C-stick in the air whenever possible (meaning everything except for my neutral A in air). 

Sheik is one of the best characters in the game.  Smash Boards has it at the top of the top teir.  Under Her comes Fox, then Marth.  I tend to disagree with this...I feel Fox should be on the God tier (how many other characters can knock a person off at 0% (before hit), or have an infinate combo?)  But, I can understand why they do not have him at the top.  The amount of input needed to get Fox to work really well is insane.  Whereas the amount needed for Shiek is rather low.  You can be a tourny level Sheik and not be able to L-Cancel, or various other techs which is needed with almost every other character if a person tries them at a tourny.

It's all about Fox and Marth, but you can mix it up with anyone, really. If your timing's good enough, you can even wreck a decent player with Boser (yes he's slow, but the penetration and priority of his attack are insane, just take knowing WHEN to swing)

Oh, and C-Stick smashes? Convenient yes, but it cuts down on your response time a lot. Learn how to tap-A your smashes, and you get a lot quicker.

God, I was just playing SSMB right now and it's been a month.   My timing was very very very slow and Anime Expo having a tounry with this to. >.<
