Bomberman Online

http://www.bomberman-online.com This is what used to host the Japanese version of my favorite MMOG of all time: Bomerman Online. This was a lot better than the console versions, and there are also Korean and Chinese veersions up as well, but sadly no English.

Recently, the free beta which has been in progress for maybe 3 or 4 years now, has been discontinued on the Japanese site, which I'm sad to see it leave. To my knowledge, the other two online Bomberman sites are still up, but I really wished they had an English version, b/c many ppl from Singapore and America would go into these servers and play.

I hope that Hudson and WizGate will come up with a way to make an English version soon, and they said a year ago they would look into it but they made no promises. I think it would end up being really popular.

I thought they'd kicked Americans off? I was on the Japanese beta for a little while.

I still have a pretty funny screenshot that shows in correct Japanese font to press any key, and a pop-up window that comes up saying you need Japanese installed in order to play, right above it.
