I just hope this one doesn't turn out to be shite like every other Famicom handheld system... apparently Gametech clones are higher quality than most, so it's possible.

Hmm...
And I thought I'd just use a 7 inch LCD (From a car stereo outfitter) and then buy one of those $30 Chinese things that have many NES classics.

lik-sang is my favorite website for odd adapters and stuff like that. I remember buying one of the first PSX->USB controller adapters from them.

Seems to be much cheaper at Lik-Sang than anywhere else. I might just get one... maybe. Considering I've got all these Famicom games and nothing to play them on except a half-broken Power Joy, and a shitload of AA's that I'm not using for much. Even if the screen sucks, I could just buy an AC adapter, and plug it into the TV with a couple of the various Famiclone controllers I've got lying around... or sell it on ebay.

Personally I would use the NES-on-a-chip and build my own pocket NES/Famicom

The NES-on-a-chip sucks.

There are several, stupid. Get the one that doesn't suck.
