This is the thread to discuss strange errors, glitches or crashes that have occurred during your gaming sessions.
To list two examples:
On the original Sonic on the Genesis, we were messing around with Labyrinth Zone 1 or 2(it was the one with the rising water) with debug mode. At the exit, we made a checkpoint pole, and passed it just as we beat the level. Well, somehow we were able to kill off Sonic, and when the game reloaded the level, the game massively crashed with lines of numbers on the screen and the words "ILLEGAL FUNCTION" on the lower middle half of it.
The other example happened in FF6 on the SNES back in 96 or so. I had just completed Cyan's nightmare dungeon with Shadow, Strago and some other character(Sabin I think). The odd thing about all this is that I was able to keep the Magitek mecha up until(and after) the end of the dungeon. Afterwards, I simply reset the game in fear of what it would do to my file, though I really should have seen what would have happened if I kept playing.
Anyone else?
