You'll probably have an easier time swallowing the ice cream. Regardless of properties, you shouldn't eat any food frozen if it would be solid at body temperature.

there's not much worse than sugar in an ice cream sandwich, and that's not really bad for you unless taken in excess. the corndog, on the other hand, would be full of fats and preservatives, which your body would be less capable of processing.
