I rarely drink hot tea, and I've never made it before. What supplies do I need to make some hot tea, and what are some good types of tea?

I'm going to treat this like it's a serious post, even though I can't imagine a person who doesn't know how to make tea.
You need boiling water and tea leaves, for your first time you should probably used tea bags.
Boiling water over tea bags in a cup/mug = tea about 20-30 seconds later. Add milk and sugar if you like that kind of thing.
Good types of tea: Black tea (the standard), Green Tea (standard for asian countries), Earl Grey, some flavored teas are acceptable as well. Up to you and what you enjoy!

Thank you. I seriously don't know how to make tea, and now I do.
It may seem like a troll, but if no one ever drank tea in your family growing up, it's not really intuitive (concerning loose leaf tea, anyway). I was similarly mystified coming from a family of coffee drinkers.
