What is the easiest way to make hard apple cider at home (or specifically, a dorm room). Is it possible to make it just by letting some unpasteurized, untreated apple cider sit in your fridge for long enough?

add a package of wine maker's yeast to 6 gallons and let it rip for 2 weeks.. NO REFRIGERATION, that slows the yeast down.
