Chooseveg.org is Bullshit

Chooseveg.com has some "revealing" footage of the worst parts of our meat industry.

First... Let me tell you all something.

The idea to drop the total food supply and boycott the method of consumption as a normal way of life is first-handedly a fucking joke. Animals have feelings too? I am sure they do. Maybe you should suggest more humane ways of slaughtering animals... Don't fucking down-size the meat industry over the fact that they kill as a means as an ordinary way of life. One animal dies, another lives off of it. Surivival of the fittest. Good game. Too much detail to type at 3 AM...

Secondly, don't think that people who put such an effort into convincing society that eating animals is bad are pure. These people are nothing more than lobbyists and fucking bribed/paid by organizations so that they generate a larger profit. Do they tell you this? No. Because then you wouldn't be convinced. These people probably halfway really give a shit about those animals either. They criticize and show the WORST scenarios only so they have their paycheck and can manage to pay the mortgage on a house they practically can afford over a big fraudulent scam.

Its fucked up that they use the old sympathy card on people. They show some rotten-ass insanitary Alabama country farm yard slaughter house just so they have an image for you to sit in awe at as they say: "This is bad... and they do it because their cruel." Whats that do? It is a biased way of convincing you of what to think.

But everyone go ahead and listen to the bullshit they feed you. ANd after your done eating their bullshit, eat more of it via your fucking pseudo-burgers of soy goodness.

Vegetarians supposedly have a healthier lifestyle? Fuck that. THe only healthy one is a balanced one. Sure you'll get thin, but your body is going to fucking get a nice pummeling over the lack of other essential nutrients you are blindly starving yourself of.

Am I an animal killer? Only on an empty stomach, your fucking right.

Don't bash me as a cruel individual if you are a veg-head... You have nothing to back that up with. Chooseveg.com has gotten me so livid on the matter, I tihnk I am going to go eat raw hotdogs as a sign of my disgust in their actions. [Not really.]

Final Note: Do your own research before you're convinced that ALL meat packaging company's are horrible animal cruelty investors. The shit you are told and shown are generally biased and displayed as worst case scenarios. If you really want to make it more ***humane***, which I also feel differently about than most people, than push that to your lawmakers. Don't whine about keeping Bessie alive and well in country grass heaven.

Are you fucking serious?
meat in it self is bad as fuck for us. Dude our digestive system is not really build for consuming meat, they are made for a herbavorses not carnivores like an animals.
So what i understand from your little speach up there where there were more cuss words that argumentative points, is that you would keep living your life and not do a single god damm thing of what humanity is doing to these poo creatures. dude they are also living creatures what gives us any right to take a way a life in such a ruthless manner. i have done some research on this matter and at least it would be some what better if they did it like muslims where they say a prayer and qucikly do it where they animal does not suffer.

I hope you can change your mind brother.

About the meat industry:

It is probably not the whole (gargantuan) meat industry that treats animals equally bad. Going by a corporation's regulations for "humane behavior" of animals is not always the right decision. http://is.gd/5Dajt

There seems to be evidence that things could be better. I don't personally like that food industry cattle is being raised on corn, which is not what they are meant to be eating. Any food that requires red food dye to look appealing to the customers is not something I am ready to eat.

There is indisputable evidence that we eat too much meat on a global scale, so this industry SHOULD be minimized and by several multiples. http://is.gd/5DaXd

About vegetarianism:

Meat as food has the disadvantage of being redundant. It's great that we can get our amino acids easily and conveniently by eating meat, but the rest of a meat portion is actually a pretty bad package.

Still, our bodies are capable of digesting meat and there are some advantages to that.

Also, I think being a vegetarian or vegan based simply on moralistic reasoning is futile. There are no redeeming arguments so they will always have to turn to emotional appeal. But emotional appeal will not always be applicable, and then it moves one further step into a debate on ethics and and religion.

Diets should be balanced, and probably include meat sometimes. Especially fish.

Vegetables live in oppression, served on our tables each night.  This killing of veggies is madness, I say we take up the fight.  Salads are only for murderers, coleslaw's a fascist regime.  Don't think that they don't have feelings just because a radish can't scream.

I've heard the screams of the vegetables watching their skins being peeled, having their insides revealed.  Grated and steamed with no mercy, burning off calories, how do you think that feels?  Bet it hurts really bad.  Carrot juice constitutes murder, greenhouses prisons for slaves.  It's time to stop all this gardening, it's dirty as hell.

Let's call a spade a spade.

Let's get a few things straight here.

1) some essential-to-life vitamin complexes, like B12, are generally only obtained by eating meat (although they are synthesized by proteins, which are still animals, so it doesn't matter)

2) besides many other aforementioned aspects of human morphology adapted to meat-eating, most primates eat meat - humans are primates

3) although I am on the meat-eating side, let's clear some ignorance here: meat-eater ≠ carnivore. Carnivore refers to a very specific order of animals which includes cats, dogs, seals, weazels, bears and the like - not humans.

4) additionally, most essential proteins and amino acids can be synthesized by your own body given the proper combinations of specific complex carbs such as rice + beans, which 1/3 of the world eats daily with no meat, so protein ain't that big of a deal, and adult humans really don't need as much protein as you think, in fact, very little

A lot of people seem to get defensive when you tell them you are a vegetarian. Some just get down-right hostile. The first question that one meets when one light heartedly brings up the fact that one is a vegetarian is almost always: Why? Why would you do that to yourself? They exclaim. Why would you deny yourself the delicious cuisine of charred carcass, why would you deny yourself the vast venue of organs and fat that you could easily stuff your fat face with?

The answer to this is quite simply; why not. I don't need a reason to not eat meat. I just don't like doing it.
