I love beer...

but I'm afraid to go into bars. There aren't any upscale, pretentious bars near me, just cheap looking ones with really fat dudes and scary biker dudes. I'm afraid if I go in they'll giggle and make fun of me, or even anally rape me - I'm half asian so I have that boyish, malnourished look even though I've never purposefully dietted or gone vegetarian. Am I overreacting, or should I just wait till I can move to a better area?
