I could use some advice on how to spice up a recipe i have for sante fe black beans and rice. it is as follows, 1cup brown rice, 1 can black beans rinsed, 1/2 med onion and one can of green chili's. I have high blood pressure so prefereably low sodium seasonings, any help would be appreciated.

This goes without saying, but make sure that those green chiles you picked up have no sodium. Other than that, I'd suggest the chile pepper option in addition to some fresh vegetable flavors, like fresh tomatoes.
