The hell? And I thought I was the only person who thought that. I don't know why it tastes different, but I prefer reheated.

It tastes better because of the food poisoning.

Maybe the bacteria makes the pizza taste better?

I think leftovers always taste fucking nasty. All of the flavors in the food absorb into everything else, which in my opinion makes the food taste like mush.
Reheated pizza is fucking horrible, it RUINS it. I eat it cold the next day.

Letting it "sit" overnight makes the flavor get absorbed to the food, so to speak. Makes the food taste better overall. Maybe the tomato sauce and the bread are fusing together :D...

How is it being reheated is my question.
By microwave, toaster oven or an actual oven?
Cause this does make a difference

Yeah, I'm gonna have to say that pizza is best when fresh. Say you pay good money for a real, brick oven, honest to goodness pizza. When it's fresh, the bottom is crunchy, the cheese is hot enough to make the roof of your mouth fall off, and the toppings are juuuuust right.
Next day the damn thing is going to be soggy pile of crap.

You should reheat it with an conventional oven. Microwaving tends to add moisture and makes it more soggy.

Reheated Italian, American, or any other kind of pizza on a broiler, in a brick oven, in a conventional oven, in a microwave, on a grill, or in a microwave is nothing like the original. If someone could invent a way to keep the original flavor in a reheated pizza, it would be the best invention since ---well, since the pizza!
