The chemistry used is super awesome, it's an ink which changes colour at the exact time the proteins in the egg begin to go solid and allows them enough time to get cooked. This is super hard as when the ink touches the water it reaches boiling point very quickly and the rate of reaction has to be controlled so you can see the difference.

I could make them, but alas, I have no toaster... And soft boiled eggs without toast pointless.....
