American Cheese

I've heard people refer to american cheese as "regular" cheese.  What fucking trash those people are.

American cheese and white bread.  Thats shits not food.

There used to be a "real" American cheese, before process cheese came along in the '20s or so.  I can't tell from reading whether it was like orange cheddar or more like leiderkranz (which I guess isn't made anymore, either).
