espresso machine

iv got a little mr. coffee espresso machine, and i was wondering if anyone has any recomondations for what brand of coffee to use. so far iv had maxwell house frenchroast, duncan dounuts, and starbucks coffees, and they were all pretty similar because they are normal coffee machine coffees. would this produce a better brew with official espresso coffee?

No.  It all tastes the same.

signed, you have fucking problems. First off, coffee for drip machines is too coarsely ground, making it impossible for the crema to form. Secondly, regular coffee is roasted for a shorter amount of time than espresso. Putting any old coffee into an espresso machine leaves you with a brown watery mess. Get real espresso, and don't let anyone tell you that robusta beans are bad. They're not.
