Dietary supplements

A lot of herbs and supplements do nothing or have no noticeable affect despite claims made.  Other supplements do have noticeable effects, which at least allows you to stick with the ones that you know work.  And yes, a lot of these are wastes of money.

CoQ10- Noticed increase in energy (hard to explain, heart energy seems greater for a while)
Ginseng- Noticed increase in  natural energy, similar to caffeine
Ginkgo Biloba- Increased thought process, can lead to stress
Melatonin- a natural sleeping pill that helps regulate sleep when you stay up at the wrong hours
Vitamin E/Omega-3/Fish Oil- Increased thought process or tiredness
Papaya extract- Natural anti-gas tablets that work rather well
Chamomile/catnip- Sleep inducing
Creatine- Muscle mass, no change noted
Focus Factor- a scam multivitamin.  Avoid.
Red marine algae- Said to reduce mouth sores, possible placebo
Red Wine extract- Antioxidants/heart function, no change noted
Bilberry- Said to improve eyesight, no change noted.
