Why don't people eat rare steaks?

I lol when people say "oh, I don't like to see the blood".

Why? Does it make the animal any less dead? If they're going to fag about over their meat, they shouldn't eat it at all.

I can see like, getting a medium or a medium rare if you don't trust the chef, but there's no need to get a well done unless you're eating meat that's possibly infected.

The juices that come out of meat aren't blood.  It's basically moisture contained in the cells as they break down from cooking.  Fawk, don't any of you ass holes watch Alton Brown.

Most of the blood is removed from the animal during slaughter.  The whole reason we leave the animals alive when we slit the throat is so the heart can keep beating and pump most of the blood out.
 
A1 steak sauce seems to be an artifact of people who never got to eat good meat.  If you grew up eating over done grade D meat, yeah, you had to use A1 to eat it.  The people who like a good rare cut of meat are like me and got to eat a lot of dry aged prime and other stuff on the grill.
