Why don't people eat rare steaks?

I lol when people say "oh, I don't like to see the blood".

Why? Does it make the animal any less dead? If they're going to fag about over their meat, they shouldn't eat it at all.

I can see like, getting a medium or a medium rare if you don't trust the chef, but there's no need to get a well done unless you're eating meat that's possibly infected.

Most restraunts don't serve rare meat to avoid the possibility of a lawsuit. This has trained most people to think that if a restraunt won't serve something it must be bad. Personally I Don't eat alot of rare beef. This is primarily due to the fact that I am poor and buy rather tough meat that is best when slow cooked over long periods of time, but rare steak is a treat. Make it yourself, b/c restraunts cook the shit out of everything to prevent the chance of lawsuits.
