Is there anything legal that I can eat/drink that'll give me hallucinations?
Not sure where else to put this.

jimsonweed, henbane, dwale, nutmeg, fly agaric, other toadstools, nitrous oxide... or you can just try to stop breathing, it's cool too.

Jimsonweed can cause immediate, severe, and permanent brain damage.

6 oz vodka, 2 oz worcestershire sauce, 2 tbsp tabasco, tomato juice/salt/etc. to make it actually drinkable.

I woke up in the middle of the night, standing in the bathroom hallucinating very interesting shapes and colors.

Indigestion means you're doing it right.

There are a number of traditional plants, often unregulated, that will induce hallucinations. But they're not something you should take casually. They're strong, and in traditional societies, use was bound in rituals designed to prepare the user for the experience.

Psilocybin (magic mushrooms) is generally recommended as a "beginner's" hallucinogen. In the US, magic mushrooms are legal in Florida if growing wild and cultivation for personal use is legal in New Mexico. The experience is reportedly mild (barely hallucinogenic in low doses) and relatively safe compared with other hallucinogens (like LSD, for example).

I've never done mushrooms specifically, but here are some general hallucinogen tips: start with a small dose, trip in a safe and private space where you can be left alone for a number of hours (depends on the drug), trip with trusted friends (and preferable with an experienced and sober sitter), obtain sedatives (in case of a bad trip you can just sleep it off), marijuana can take the edge off (if rolling joints, pre-roll them).

It would be smarter not to bother with such powerful drugs, especially with such a casual attitude. But if you must experiment, do so safely and responsibly.

Don't change these.
