I just saw this at wal-mart, and I was like, "This is friggen awesome!" So I bought some. I now think it's one of the best instant foods they sell in america. Get the "Teriyaki" flavor; while it's not actually teriyaki, (It's actually regular yakisoba flavor) it's damn good as hell. Chicken flavor is crap; it can go to hell and die.
Anyone else had this, or seen it at wal-mart? And if so was it not good as hell?

Yes, go and buy it. If you buy the crap out it, they'll keep making it (I'm hoping it's not a test market thing, but it may be).
ONE THING THOUGH: They say cook it in the microwave. I say that's crap. What I do, is, I just boil a whole bunch of water and pour it in, going way over the fill line. Let it sit for four (4) minutes, and then pull the top off of the other side's corners. Not much, just enough to drain the water off without losing any of the noodles or the vegetables. Then I just mix the dry powder packet in (it helps to leave just a little bit of water.).
It tastes more like the imported stuff I get from the asian store that way. I don't care that it's more authentic, I just care that it's really really good. Yakisoba (even if it's instant variety) definately needs to stay on our shores.

Anyone know what the difference between onokomiyaki sauce and worcestershire sauce is?

I think the only difference is that okonomiyaki sauce is basically worchestshire sauce mixed with catsup.

It's dry noodles. Americans wouldn't buy refrigerated noodles, they're too used to dry ones.
My wal-mart is out of them. I guess that means they're popular, which means that they'll ship more eventually. It also means that I can't get any right now.

They're going to stop selling this soon. Get it while it lasts!
And sage is how you make a topic not rise to the top of the forum when you post a reply to it. The opposite is age. It's a gookaneese word.
