Wendy's anyone?

Now that the con artist lost one too many fingers in her chili, would anyone actually eat there? I actually prefer their burgers over other places because they tend to cook it more throughly. Plus I'm a sucker for the Big Bacon Classic.

I never ate the chili tho. If I want chili, I go for 100% beef chili at BBQ houses. The hotter, the better (as long as there's milk or plenty of soda around)

I pretty much stopped eating fast food quite a while ago.  It's so much cheaper (and better tasting) to make stuff at home.  Recently heading home and I thought I'd stop at BK and get a bacon cheeseburger.  The flavor and texture was disgusting to me.  It was like eating a vaguely beef flavored lump of lard.

I like to make my own chili.  The secret of getting a good texture is to use chunks of cut meat rather than ground beef.  Whenever a local supermarket has boneless chuck roasts under $2 a pound, I buy several and put them in the freezer.  They're perfect for stir-fry, stew, or chili.

i suspect the chilli is where all the burgers that fell on the floor go. still, you cant beat the value menu.

I would have eaten at Wendys (if one was anywhere near me) regardless of wether it was a scam or not.  Lightning doesn't strike twice.  That said, Chinatown is right nearby, so I'm 50 times more likely to grab some 60-cent steamed pork buns if I want fast food.

Wendys is actually alright, last I had it, but REAL ground beef you cook yourself (I always do it on the rare side, mmmm) with fresh ground pepper and some kosher salt kicks ungodly ass. And yeah, BK hamburgers are so manufactured tasting and feeling its ridiculous. ugh!

As car as chili goes, fresh everything beats the crap out of pre-packaged packet spice mixes, but most people dont put any effort into their food at all anymore it seems :(

2/5 times for me eating at Wendy's ends in disaster for my stomach... it's a curse. But it at least beats the shithole that is McDonalds.

Wendy's is much better than McDonalds, it's at the top of the fast food bull shit for me.  Other than Wendy's and Arby's Curly French Fries, fast food is total shit.

As soon as Dave thomas died it was apparent that quality went down  rather quick. I remember eating a cheeseburger from wendy's right after his death, the cheese was totally fake and had the consistency and flavor of spray cheese. The veggies were also brown and totally limp, it was obvious that the business majors were trying to increase their profit margin. It's still better than bk though, I went there a few days ago since I hadn't been in awhile. The vegetables were days old, and it tasted like a slimy lard patty. The soda tasted totally weird, their dispensing machine probably hadn't been cleaned in ages. I remember taking one drink only to have a burning sensation in the back of my throat and an unusual stomach discomfort, I just threw the stuff out afterwards.
