VEGETARIAN

I find it funny how most of the people who are vegeterians are urban yuppies or hippies and almost everybody who lives out on the country side and owns farms where this stuff happens is a carnivore.

So, my question is, if you live on a large-scale farm and this type of thing happens all the time, why don't they care? Or, even better, why is it that Vegetarianism is suddenly SOOO big now that we're in the post-modern era, 100 years ago, people still ripped apart pigs and shit to get meat off of them and nobody cared because .... get this...

PIGS aren't humans, and as much as it hurts to know, the only reason that we mourn humans over animals is because humans hold a place in our society while we keep animals around, mostly, for our service. I don't think many animals can hold a place in society as humans do, and I don't many animals have had lives that were worth remembering or even mourning.

Most animals technically are sentient beings, particularly livestock, most higher level animals we keep around as pets or for entertainment, or out of sheer genorisity to their the natural habitat. My point is, that animals are not people, and animals rarely deserve to treated on the same level that people do.

And on top of that, meat is delicious and turning to vegetarianism will not solve any of my personal problems, currently. I think that we should kill animals, not people. Since people are more important to have around than animals.
