I currently have 2 Ek-fc waterblocks. I don't have enough thermal pads for both cards. Can i use thermal compound on my vram instead of using the 1mm thermal pads?

I wouldnt recommend it since the termal compound isnt nearly 1mm thick when applied properly. The waterblocks are made specially for the pads
