Tiling window managers are awesome.
They automagically resize windows, side by side, so that no window is ever "on top" of another.
That way, your desktop realestate is maximized.
My favorite tiling window manager is Awesome. That's the name of it: Awesome Window Manager.
After using Awesome for years, now I'm checking out clfswm because it is written in Lisp and you can modify the code on the fly... :D
