SSD suggestion

I want to swap my notebook HDD for an SSD, but I'm not really sure about which one to pick. I'm mainly worried about reliability, and it would be nice if it didn't cost an arm and a leg. The notebook isn't very fast so the speed of the drive isn't really a concern.

I don't trust Sandforce drives at all, but don't know too much about the rest. Are there any drives without an endless series of firmware updates?
