Virtual drives and virtual burning

Name: Anonymous 2011-10-17 10:55

Yo. I've got a few dvd's i made using Cyberlink Power Director. i knew before i made them that i was planning to make iso's out of them for use with a virtual drive due to their size. (18 gb file and discs couldn't handle it) so the question becomes, is there a way to use a virtual drive as the computer's main cd/dvd writing drive? as in, make the virtual drive so seemingly real to the computer it believes you added a second physical drive and recognizes mounted images as real cd's? i have daemon tools lite, but the computer isn't fooled and i have magiciso as well, but even it doesn't act like a rea drive. Is there a way to fool power director to burn to a virtual drive? so far all i've found is iso makers but they just pack the files into an image, not accept data from another program that it sends to be burned and put it into the iso that way. i've got win 7 with a core i5 if that makes a difference.

Don't change these.
