For some odd reason every time I go to turn off my computer and start it up it gets stuck in the post mode when it is connected to my acer monitor, however when I attach my HDTV to the computer then start it up it passes post then starts up normaly. I found out that after doing this I can switch back to the acer monitor however doing this every time I want to restart my computer is retarded. can some one help me with this issue?

To not spread further false hopes as a dev, I must say that Vista has a lot of bugs and doesn't run lots of stuff that should run. If you have Vista and still want to remain to Windows, switch to XP or 7. However I suggest to try a linux distro. Mac's are still not an option!
