The hybrids in the MX 950 irons are forged from 4135 high strength steel for maximum distance, while the shorter irons are forged from mild 1025E carbon steel. If there is a downside to the MX 950s, it's their clunkiness. There not as bad as a set of Callaway "toasters", as some people call them, but they are a little bulky. However, despite this, these clubs have even appeared in use on the pro tours, because they're really just that good. Shafts are available in steel or graphite in R300 or S300 flex.
