How can I make an original website design?
I have basic coding skills, and I'm in urgent need of money. My parents say they'll pay me whatever I ask if I make a working family website to host pictures and provide basic info. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Look at other websites. Copy their designs.

Make them write down a specification of what they actually want

3. right-click and copy the public link
4. lin it to a .tk site (dot.tk)

with jottit+imgur+youtube you can have a free wiki-like mini website with pictures and videos within an hour. you can use inline HTML and it has "history", etc... but it doesn't do PHP or anything like that.

if you want to create your own database driven websites, you can get basic php+mysql hosting for €0.50 per month (€6 per year), you choose a framework, tweak your design and you're off to go.

to create your design, best to start with something open source and tweak the colors and fonts:

I use Wordpress to create websites.

It's a skill I HIGHLY recommend learning.

Check out wordpress.. you dont actually have to apply coding skills for the above mentioned requirements in the post.. Search for wp plugins to manage pictues in the website.

im a CSS master, so, in terms of design, basically i go to big sites from enterprises who had actually invested money in their websites and i copy parts of them making a new one. last one i did used the exact nav from my government's web and made it into a VOIP enterprise web .
