I could use some help

I'm by no means stupid or not capable of learning, but I'm 22 and don't know shit about computers.

I know about computers, and people come to me when they have "problems" with their computers, but I really don't know shit about computers.

So this is what I'm asking for, a learner's resource to understanding the basics in maintenance and networking.
Help appreciated
