Vista to Windows 7

How do I know if I can just install Windows 7 from Windows Vista without having to move my files out?  I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

As long as you upgrade to 7 home premium x32 there should be no problem - then after that use anytime upgrade to go to ultimate.
