Video card issues.

Name: Anonymous 2010-08-30 12:32

At some point when I had my GeForce 7400, I started having rendering issues. In the middle of gameplay, the screen would suddenly freeze for a moment, go black, and then return to normal, except some objects or polygons would be missing, flickering, or flying. This happens most often in games like Fallout 3, Oblivion, L4D, Last Remnant, anything processor-intensive.

I figured my card was outdated, so I got an 8600. The problem persisted. I recently upgraded to a quadcore and a GeForce 275 GTX. I now also have Windows 7. Between the first occurrence and now, every single component of my computer has been replaced and upgraded at least once. The hard drives have been wiped multiple times. I reinstalled DirectX, fiddled with video card settings, anything I could think of. Could this be a BIOS problem? I don't know what else to do.

Don't change these.
